yes i think people in all wars love to be conned that goes back to the time of the roman empire where the legions were glorified and to a certain extent admired today in fact some of the conning has remained as the roman legions are admired while no one question whither the abilities of the opponents of roman empire were under estimated or ideas of how they were were distorted by the romans as wmd's lots of books say know but people like a scary threat so yes democrats on the right wing and rebublicans on the left like being conned

Who lied? The head of the CIA just produced a book admitting they gave the government bad intel analysis. Congress acted on that and declared war. By the way, the head of the CIA then was a Democrat. They just made a mistake. So what. The whole world new he had already used Chemical warfare on his own people, and was trying to get nuclear capability, so he needed to go.
The problem over there is we thought the Iraqi's would be like conservatives and be willing to die for democracy. What we found was a bunch of liberals that will lay down at the first sign of difficulty.

What does wanting to restore monarchy have to do with Republicrats? Both parties are moderate; one just has more communist tendencies then the other. The whole concept of left and right wings is fatally flawed in the modern western world. Nearly all right wingers are in the third world. We need to forget this crap and use a realistic comparison like the liberty scale.
Examples: the Nazis were a socialist peoples worker party - as left wing as can be obtained - but they opted for totalinarian government. The same is true of the Stalinists.

Not sure what you are talking about but Iraq did have WMDs. Ask the people in Northern Iraq where thousands were killed.
