where the complex is the marina there has access to the sea, and yet there has been nom mention of checking boats that could leave without lights under low rev' power. Check what boats were in the marina that day and which were not the next day. Everything is pointed to inland search, that are coming up negative. "Crikey" it is on the southern part of portugal and nothing ...nothing....has shown a sea search or as already mentioned. It so easy to slip anchor and quitely move away showing no lights, especially with all the noise of the complex etc etc.. just check the boats that were there that day and what was not there the next morning. and also which of these boats came back to its mooring within 24 hours or something like that. Please "GOD" find her, bless her and maddies parents, they were lulled into a false sense of security and safety.

It seems when I watch the news, people that are foreign die and they don't appear as valuable as when an American Dies. It's like Major News when 3 soldiers disappear. But 560 Iraquis died last week and there isn't much coverage at all. 35 Americans die at Vir. unlike the European countries it didn't have colonies,
after WW2 in which the u.s lost millions of soldiers in Europe
to help free it ,even though Germany never officially declared war on the U.S
it was the only country with nukes ,Europe and Asia
were pretty much ruined - it could have easily taken over the world ,and didn't.
Korea and Vietnam were fought against the communist not in order to concore those countries
after 9/11 the u.s attacked 1st the country that was the base of al qaida- what is illegitimate about that??
Iraq -maybe more questionable but not illegitimate ,the Iraqis were a threat on the U.S.
the killing now are not done by Americans.

I read Yahoo news each day and it tells about death counts from Iraq every single day and deaths in the U. S. do not make the headlines, such as infants dying by accident or other deaths that are just as tragic. I am beginning to believe that this is a media thing that they "get off" on .

Aside from that... what positive things can people think of that has happened or changed in this country or in the whole world that've directly resulted from the events of 9/11?

If nothing good can be admitted about the horrible events of that day, wouldn't that be like conceding a complete victory to the terrorists' attack?

I saw a video on the internet with a terrorist laughing. I think he was laughing at America.

I want America to win always. Even against ideologies and religions and cultures. We're safer that way. My money's riding on it.... Freedom ain't Free, ya know. $!CHA-CHING!$

Yahoo will link you to the article, but apparently doesn't seem to think it's pertinent that this scum would attempt to discredit our troops by making up stories about "atrocities" in Iraq, and claim to have been shot while there in an attempt to get benefits (that's right...from our pockets!). The problem with all this is that the man never went to Iraq and was discharged early in training. It is my fervent hope that his prosecuted to the full extent of the law. I would also like to see someone hold the Iraq Veterans Against the War be held accountable for the things they post on their site. They are surely entitled to their opinions, but at the very least should be more interested in truth than agenda.

Is Military news coverage lacking?
I was just amazed when our troops were killed and 3 taken hostage and all I could get on the news was the "Paris Hilton" report!!! I am ashamed of the news networks for their coverage of this story. Is this a reflection of the American values? Do so many people (and the news networks) not appreciate the sacrifice that our young men and their families are making over seas? If you do not agree with the war, do you not care about your fellow country men? If so , our country is no better than Iraq.

Du mostly to defaults in the ¨SubPrime¨and ¨Alternative -A¨ mortage markets. If 40 percent of the ¨ALT-A¨fails this year,finnacial markets will be looking at $1 trillion in defaults.

In the middle of his shooting spree, the gunman responsible for the Virginia Tech shootings mailed a package to NBC News. In the package was a video explaining why he felt he had to commit these murders and a collection of photographs depicting himself in poses with various weapons. NBC News decided to air some of the footage and the photographs. Was this the right decision, or should they have quietly sent these items to the FBI without broadcasting them?

I am very sad to here what happened to Madeline McCann. She was abducted on vacation (Portugal) and was only 3 years old. Her mum and dad were in a restraunt with friends and her mum checked on her evey 30 min.
I have 2 questions
If Madelin was last checked on at 9:30 p.m. what time do you think she was abducted
Why would her mom leave her alone in a forgein country??

Why are the Saudi's being allowed to buy GM's plastic division when they make one of the major componets of a biological weapon. There have been several terrorists come from Saudi Arabia and it seems like our wonderful homeland security department should step in and stop this from happening.
