i heard on the news lately their traffic is the 2nd worst in the
country.

they are like in the bottom, when it comes to education.

their murder rate has gone up a lot.

their air pollution has gotten worse.

they have the worse transportation i have ever seen.

it's also hard to find a job too.
and don't go telling me their plenty of job the ajc new paper has over 5000 listings.
i dont want to hear it, because before those jobs go to the news paper it gets to the uneployment office first . PPL go their everyday and find nothing.

but i guess in the great south (GEORGIA) job are open for certain ppl.

I saw a report on urinaium enrichment and I think it may be possible for us to supply fuel grade uranium to them for use in a power facility without them having to enrich it themselves. After all, we have that down pat, and they don't have uranium ore deposits. They are saying that they want it as an alternative fuel source, ok, that may be good for the environment instead of fossil fuel plants. Another thing we could do is encourage them to start making solar energy, that they have an abundance of. Plus, they have all the materiels and people they need to create thier own independant solar array and power grid. The thing I see is that they need alternative power, and we need to feel comfortable that weapons don't get created as a byproduct. So, if they insist on building the power plant, why don't we oversee the insertion of fuel from top to bottom. Everyones happy. Do you really think we need to go to war with Iran? Maybe if we respect and assist instead of demand...

FOX NEWS clearly has a far right wing bias in their news coverage- and it is hardly 'no spin'.It's all spin.

Right wingers I have met praise FOX becuse they claim it's objective in its coverage, 'free of liberal bias'. Are they kidding? FOX NEWS might as well be the propaganda network for the Republican party-

Does anyone beleive FOX NEWS is objective?

I am an American. I have seen things over the past 5 years that I can and cannot appreciate. The Islamic Fundamentalist threat is real my fellow Americans. Whether it has been waged right or wrong. The Iraqi dictator Saddam was not allowed to be trusted. I really do not know were the delicacy of this country ever went to. I am trying to find the unity we once had on that beautiful September morning. A nation that I believe can find it in our hearts to move on with this bickering over the wars in Iraq abd Afghanistan. I am hurt by the politizing that has taken place due to the power grab in Washington D.C. I am not Democrat or Republican. I am not Liberal or Conservative. I am American. Born and raised here. I am an American. The enemies are Osama Bin Laden, Al Qaeda, Nasrallah, Ahmandeinjad, and every known terrorist that threatens our way of life. Lets become united.

I saw Dick Cheney reacting to the news that the Brits were withdrawing their troops from Iraq by saying that it was a positive sign. He said (paraphrasing) that it was a sign that the increase in U.S. troops is working and the new strategy is succeeding. Even after hearing his argument, I still don't understand how the Brits withdrawal has any correlation to the increase in U.S. troops and the new strategy. I hate to sound cynical, but it kind of reminded me of how they kept telling us that we were winning the war when just about every independent group came to the opposite conclusion. Can anyone please explain how the British withdrawal of troops is a sign that the new strategy is working?

Please don't turn this into a Bush/Liberal bashing contest on your answers. I am genuinely interested in knowing if the withdrawal is a positive thing and would like to hear your thoughts, not your attacks.
