Every news station (even CNN) is reporting about Britney or Anna Nicole more than any other events (hardly any mention was made of the NBA all-stars).
Is it just me, or is anyone else tired of them?

If you caught last Sundays 60 minutes you would know the Kurdish region of Iraq does not have any fighting, bombing, or other forms of violence. They think of the US not as occupiers but liberators. Their economy is booming. Can someone explain why?

I live in CA and it is extremely annoying and frustrating to see the weather box on yahoo.com showing NY weather and not anywhere else that is NOT in the east coast. Now, I know NY is a fabulous state and all but it is NOT the only state. There are 49 other states that are just as important as NY. Get a grip!

Saw an article online in Newsweek where they asked the question whether the cost of rescuing people from mountains, gorges, etc. should be passed on to the people being rescued? This was in response to the trio of climbers and their dog who had to be rescued just recently from the same area where other climbers just recently died.

I feel the cost should be passed on to them. The rescue groups are risking their lives for people who accepted the risk of their actions. Also, while dogs like the outdoors, these people were irresponsible in taking a dog on this dangerous climb without any safety or cold weather gear for the dog. It was lucky that they did have the dog though.

I'm referring to the surviving relatives of the family of the 14 year old girl who was gang raped by U.S. soldiers and then shot in her home, along with her parents and younger sister, before burned the home and blamed it on insurgents. A second soldier has now pled guilty, with two others implicated. The only "good news" in this story is that it was evidently other servicemen that blew the whistle.

Should the rest of the family just chalk it up as just an unfortunate stress-related incident, and just be grateful to us for "liberating" them? Should we do as Conservatives suggest and downplay such atrocities, for fear of being "unpatriotic" and damaging troop morale, and are concepts like compassion and the value of human life only applicable to Ideal Families, fetuses, and the brain dead?

Finally, are incidents like this really "isolated", and if not, how many of the bodies attributed to "insurgents" and "terrorists" are of our own doing?

Every once in a while, something happens that just seems totally unreal and bizarre...

People are stealing drugs intended for COWS... And reselling them on the black market....

WHY? Sheesh... What a world we live in...

Who else agrees that the media is blowing this whole thing out of proportion? I mean the american media is acting like nothing else has happened in the news sense she died! I mean yeah it's sad... yeah there is a lot of mystery involved but life goes on! Did the world stop turning? It truly is pathetic that our media is focusing so much on Anna Nicole while people are dying in wars, starving to death from poverty, global warming is barley even mentioned!

Am I the only one who is seeing anything really really wrong with this?

Anna Nicole was a celebrity not a world leader... and not even a really HUGE celebrity except now she is dead and everyone on the news is acting like we lost our Queen! ARGH!

Sorry people but I find this to be really irritating and pathetic.

Was it because of the Bill Murray movie or was Groundhog Day associated to this before? I find it interesting this accosiation is so wide spread. This is a quote from a recent news story ""Groundhog Day" at Kosovo talks ":

"It's like Groundhog Day. You wake up and find exactly the same proposals from Belgrade," Veton Surroi told reporters after U.N. mediator Martti Ahtisaari convened both sides in Vienna for what he expects will be a final series of meetings.

everyone is such an asss. Even the judge is a dope. I love this stuff. This will go down as the best television in history. I hope that the mother gets the body because Stern refuses the DNA test. He obviousley never had sex with Anna and the photographer is obviousley the father. What do you think?

since then? and what were you doing when you heard the sad news?

for me, my nephew was born on aug 29, 1997, a day before. every year the day after his birthday i light up a candle in memory of the late princess. in my opinion she was very educated, well liked and easy to view. it is sad what happen to her and her children having to be brought up without a mother. and even though i will never understand the royal family or their ways of dealing with live, as a mother, i would hate to see my children going through that kind of grief in such an early age.
