why do we like reading about celebs?

My husbond gets annoyed when I talk about celebs and say he doesnt gives a shite about them. Why is it that some of us find it interesting that Britney is balled and some of us absolutely dont?

Because we live in a society that likes to compare. We are forever trying to keep up with the jones and celebrity comparison is a way to try to be like someone else. In reality its better to be yourself and do the things you want to do
