Well, he grew up on the streets of New York, Paid his way through law school by driving a cab. So yeah he is a bit off the wall. But I like the fact that he's being more thorough than he even needs to be. Lets face it, he seems to be the only one in the courtroom who seems to really care about the girl, everyone else has nothing but the money in mind actually.
Perhaps if his attitude would have been at OJ's trial he might be on death row instead of playing golf.

From an outside attorney's prospective, it's pretty clear that this judge has his own agenda. The outcome of this case was always secondary to his goal of personal benefit. I don't know if he is looking for solicitations for the next FOX courtroom reality show, a book deal, or just his 15 minutes. But I can tell you that it is an embarassment to my profession. It speaks volumes on why cameras should not be in courtrooms --this judge stole the case of its meaning and converted it to his own platform. And the media, once again --with this jackass's help-- robbed the American people of yet another opportunity to see the legal system the way it works. In real life, the courtroom is not a circus in which the parties are given nicknames by a ringmaster called a judge. In real life, the judge does not inject his own personal opinions or emotions into the case -- he supposed to make an unbiased, rational decision based upon the law --not some emotional money shot when the cameras are on. I could care less about the decision he made, it's HOW he conducted himself up until, and during, the decision. I am literally sickened.

Can you be a bit more specific?

There are at least 2 judges involved - one in the USA & one in the Bahamas. There will probably be more.
