Hyper competitive to land a high paying journalism job. It's even more competitive to land a photojournalism job. Contrary to what people think, it's NOT all about who you know. That's true for some, but talent will take you far in the profession. If you are a snazzy writer or have a sharp eye for pictures, you could land a job and move up to the big time depending on your talent. Now for the classes, you should try university journalism/photography courses. The best journalism schools are Columbia U., Northwestern U., and U of Missouri. If those aren't near you, try local colleges. Don't go to those pseudo tech schools, because those schools are not respected in the journalism field.
