I saw a report on urinaium enrichment and I think it may be possible for us to supply fuel grade uranium to them for use in a power facility without them having to enrich it themselves. After all, we have that down pat, and they don't have uranium ore deposits. They are saying that they want it as an alternative fuel source, ok, that may be good for the environment instead of fossil fuel plants. Another thing we could do is encourage them to start making solar energy, that they have an abundance of. Plus, they have all the materiels and people they need to create thier own independant solar array and power grid. The thing I see is that they need alternative power, and we need to feel comfortable that weapons don't get created as a byproduct. So, if they insist on building the power plant, why don't we oversee the insertion of fuel from top to bottom. Everyones happy. Do you really think we need to go to war with Iran? Maybe if we respect and assist instead of demand...

it seems funny how people who have min. amount of knowledge with politics are always talking and talking. Isn't the answer obvious? There's no way that "everyone's happy" If you get the money go and make it happen. Is there anything you can do about this... it sounds like people who have ideas are the very same people who sit around and talk about their plans and do nothing.

You're an unfortunate rarity; you actually know what's going on in Iran.
Yes, Iran will generate nuclear power, but it won't be for weapons despite the lies coming out of the Whorehouse and Tel Aviv. (Which is odd, since it's Israel that has nuclear weapons and is the country most likely to use them.)
Iran can't process their own oil, so they need nuclear power for electricity. They already gave good relations with the French and Russians, both of whom also have nuclear reactors and could supply Iran with fuel.
Oh, wait, that's right: Iraq had oil deals with France and Russia too. That's why the US invaded Iraq, to stop legitimate business deals! It's probably another reason (along with oil) the US has such a hard-on for Iran and is looking for any excuse to invade.

Appeasement has not worked one time in the recorded history of mankind. The payment of tribute has come back to bite the payer every time. So why would you think it will work now?
Remember the folks that said maybe if we give Hitler Poland he will leave us alone.
I'm sorry, I just don't see it working. They want nukes and they have no qualms about lying to get them. I think that is what they are doing, lying out their posterior.
This could be different but if someone hits you in the back every time you stop looking at them it should only take a few times to figure out that if you turn your back you will be struck again. Remember this is the same people who held American hostages in our Embassy for 444 days while President Carter was working on his nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize. We displayed weakness and that was our failure, our 444 day appeasement of an act of war.

Do not be deceived , The reason according to their wishes is to kill u . It is there religion and they think that if they blow u up even so they will be blessed and be with virgins. That is man's idea of heaven and there is nothing but hate for u. Lets say that they get an atomic bomb and kill some of our solders . One sub has enough atomic missiles to totally destroy all their major cities. They will blame everything on US and they hate Israel even worse. They have nothing to contribute to civilization.

I wish all mid-eastern/asian countries have the bomb. Seriously folks, you americans have proven to be quite dangerous to the world at large.
For people who suggest Russia/US provide fuel grade uranium for them to use, remember Iran has gone down that route before. They were fvcked in the @ss by Russia. To Iran, it's a case of "fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me".
As for that embassy issue which you americans like to bring up whenever it's convenient, I guess most of you Yanks practice selective amnesia. Please read up on the circumstances and events that led up to the hostage crisis. Remember, "you reap what you sow". :)
