No Fox is not objective, yes it is a right arm of the Republican party.
It's become clear to me, that Republicans believe a radio or tv station is "without bias" ONLY if the conservative point of view is allowed to be expressed. NO other point of view is allowed, or it is considered "liberal". It seems to enrage them to hear anything other than their political agenda. NO moderate, NO Democratic views are allowed of any kind.
On the other hand, I'm still looking for the liberal media tv or radio station that ONLY expresses a liberal point of view, that NEVER allows a moderate or conservative point of view to be expressed-an entire tv or radio station that ONLY allows Democrats to speak, with nary a Republican in sight.
That's why Republicans despise Democrats so much, Democrats actually allow other points of view to be expressed, which Republicans think is stupid.

It's true that it is very balanced. It just seems like it leans right because every other media source leans heavily to the left. By contrast it naturally appears to be leaning to the right.
I've watched a few shows on it and they always have an even number of people from each side of the issues. Compare that to Bill Mahr's show where there's one conservative versus 5 liberals.
FoxNews gets higher ratings than all the others put together, so it must be appealing to the people who are sick of the liberals owning every news source out there. I've even heard people say it's like a breath of fresh air and long overdue.
The old media is for the old folks who are set in their ways and are not interested in hearing another side to an issue. That's called being narrow-minded, but it's a choice they take. The youth of America are interested in the truth and no longer believe what is told to them without hearing all sides and checking numerous sources.
The days of blindly following everything said on ABC, NBC, CBS and CNN are over. We're much smarter than that these days.

Yes, the news programs in the morning and Shepard Smith's reports really are about as fair and balanced as you can get. That's not to say they are completely unbiased. No one can give you a completely neutral report on events. But for the most part, you know when Fox hosts are editorializing. CNN and the others try to pass off editorialization as fact and not opinion. What makes Fox News more 'fair' (since fairness is a purely subjective term) than the other networks is that when O'Reilly, Beck, and Hannity are on, you are made aware that their shows are commentary/opinion shows. Glenn Beck tells his audience several times a week that he is not a journalist. Plus, do you think these guys could get a show on (P)MSNBC? Beck wasn't even allowed on big CNN but had to settle for CNN Headline News which is now a misnomer since it left the 'headlines every half hour format'.

Fox is damn right when it states that its network is free of liberal media bias, only it is replaced with conservative bias. I would rather have my liberal MSNBC and CNN over Fox anyday of the week.
