I live in a converted basement apartment. Each year during the months of Aug thru Nov, the back yard crickets have a free for all at my place. A male will get behind a large appliance and begin chirping which attracts females.

Pestisides are out of the question. If anyone knows of a natural repellant, I'd be very grateful.

We want to start freezing vegetables from our garden since we now are getting more than we can eat. Would it be worth it to get a vaccuum bag sealer or do freezer ziploc bags work just as well? Anyone with experience??

I would really like if it is not hooked up to a hose and if it will not suck so much on the lining that it will cause wrinkles. also, I would prefer it to be less than $700 unless it is realy worth it. no need for a remote controlled.

I like to use a drying rack for my dishes...but I have a roach problem. They get in everything that isn't sealed. Is there any way to air-dry my dishes and protect them from the filthy, crawling vermin?

I am not sure if I should put them inside a book or what other methods of preservation there are. I think it would be pretty in a picture frame but I have no idea how to even go about doing that.

A friend gave me a young lemon grass plant in a plastic pot. It is now winter time in New Zealand and I am not sure what to do with the plant. Should I replant it in a new pot and keep it indoor until spring time? I'm hopeless at gardening...

I live in a city apartment and the licensed venue across the road is very noisy Friday and Saturday nights. Have thought about covering windows in foam but that would block the awesome view I have.

These just showed up in our computer room out of nowhere. They are very small bugs, wingless, andvery pale tan in color, almost transparent. They don't fly but I swear they just magically appear out of thin air! They don't bite or sting but I've felt one or two on me and they're very annoying. Most of them seem to show up on the computer monitor. Maybe they're drawn to the heat. We live in Michigan and it's been warm and humid the past few days. I'm wondering if something hatched or somethig, but we've never had these in our house before. There aren't like swarms of them or anything, but you kill one and a few minutes later another one appears. They seem harmless but annoying. Does anyone know what they are? They are very light brown, almost transparent, and small, smaller than an ant. Short legs and tiny roundish body. Any help appreciated!

and fatter at the bottom and kind of funnel's up to the top. I think the height is about 1 and a half feet tall. I was trying to fix my dryer hose that goes into my floor and vents under our house and it feel through. As I was fishing it out, I seen this thing under my house. I would like a web site to match it up if possible. I typed in termite mound on google and all I found was enormous mounds that were taller than people so I'm not sure if that is it or not. Any pest control people out there??? Please help!!

I am looking for a small microwave to fit in my Casita Camping Trailer and I cannot find anything although I know that Conair used to make a Micro-Mite Microwave and Sharp used to make a Sharp Carousel Half Pint Microwave. I have called a bunch of stores where I live (Cincinnati, Ohio) and none of them seems to be carrying that brand or any compact microwave for that matter. Can anybody help me? Thanks.
