Apartment dwelling crickets?

Question

I live in a converted basement apartment. Each year during the months of Aug thru Nov, the back yard crickets have a free for all at my place. A male will get behind a large appliance and begin chirping which attracts females.

Pestisides are out of the question. If anyone knows of a natural repellant, I'd be very grateful.

Red Hot, The chirping keeps me awake and they drive me crazy. I must have killed at least 20 last season.

I really don't want any type of bug in my apartment.

Keep the crickets, their chirping will make you sleep better and besides, they say crickets in the house are good luck!
