There are Tiger Lilies every where. I dig up as many of them a year I can, but they just keep populating. I do not like the flower and where they are located I want to put mulch down. I can't do that because they will come through the mulch and I don't want to waste the money. I have talked to so many people and everyone tells me to just keep digging them up, and they are hard to get rid of, I know this. But there has to be someone out there who knows how I can get rid of them, keep in mind the people who owned the house before me planted them around my entire house, yuk!

I have a bunch of old checks with my current account number on them. I don't have a fireplace and can't have a burn pile outside my home. Would it be worth it to buy a cheap shreader and shread them?

I planted tomatoes and peppers next to each other (in separate containers) in a greenhouse, and I've noticed that all my other seedlings are doing fine except the tomatoes (which were doing fine until the peppers came along), then my brother told me that he read that tomatoes and peppers can't be next to each other, and that the tomatoes die when they are. Does anyone know if this is true, and if it is, does anyone know why it happens?

Due to wetness throughout the day, brownish patches of water have developed on the floor. I have made several attempts with the brush and other things to get these patches away, but these brownish patches are not getting away. Can you give some idea to wash the toilet such that my toilet should look like a new toilet?

I would like to grow some herbs like basil or rosemary in some tin pots, the small ones for the kitchen counter, but I am worried the plants are going to rot, since there aren t any holes underneath the pots for the water to drain..could that happen?is there a way to avoid that? and does anyone know if herbs grow all the year around?

I live in Missouri, the southwestern part and I have been told that lemon trees don't grow here. So I was wondering if I could plant one in a bucket or something? Or how could I start one in a bucket and then how to keep it producing fruit after transplanting it to the ground.

I have old hardwood floor. Can I paint it without sanding? Since sanding will cause a lot of dusts. What kind paint or brand you recommend. Appreciated.

today when i went into my garage to get the vacume cleaner, i pulled it away and behind it was a web of loads of little spiders. well, they looked like spiders... there must be at least 100 little tiny ones all on one web. when i told my dad, he said that when he was a kid he went to pick what he thought was a pinecone from a tree. it turned out to be loads of these little spiders, and they all crawled up his arm. we have put most of them in the garden because we don't want a huge population of spiders in our garage for obvious reasons. but i just want to know:

are they dangerous? what exactly are they? and how big is the mother is whats worrying me most lol.....

i live in the U.K. by the way
