You can either buy a shredder and shred them or take them to your new bank where they can shred them for you.

Hello Sam!
I am aged 14 and my dad always tells me to either shred or burn your old documents. You don't know who is around these days and you don't want to loose all money etc. By people hacking into your accounts. The best thing to do is to go to Argos, P.C World or Comet to buy a cheap shredder then bin them. Hope this will give you some idea!

Yes, get a shredder . You can buy inexpensive ones and then use it to shred other things such as junk mail with your info on it. The news said identity theft was on the rise because of people going through others garbage and getting info.

I say absolutely yes. We just had our check book stolen and it has been a nightmare. They wrote over $3000.00 worth of our checks. My husband and I are now trying to clear it up. The places that accepted the checks never even asked for ID. Do yourself a favor and go to Walmart and get a shredder. You will be happy you did.

Yes, by all means by an inexpensive shredder (NOT a cheap one) and shread them. And, if they are made from compostable material, compost the shreddings!

We bought a cheap 17.00 shredder from Wal-Mart to shred all our old checks, registers and old bills. It comes in handy for other things too.

Shredding them is great way. Plus you can continue to use the shredder for junk mail.
