Why is it that in so many homes in the West, regardless of how rich people are, they choose to have a toilet beside their bathtub?

I'm Western, but it baffles my mind as to why people would decide that toilets with what they carry and how they smell would be best placed beside the place where you at your cleanest, or perhaps trying to take a long hot bath after a hectic day.

There is a lot of grass growing in my pond and around the sides. It's a large pond we use for fishing. I don't want to kill the fish. I have read to use copper sulfate or grass carp to get rid of it. I don't know what I should do. If you know of anything that would get rid of the grass or a wedsite that might help. I don't care how weird it is. Please help.

When I ordered it I choose it from a catalogue, It was a really pretty headboard. When they delivered the bed the man said that the headboard was no longer in stock and bought another headboard instead a plain looking one. He said since it is not my fault he would not charge me a extra £15.00 as this headboard and bedstand are more expensive. I didn't complain but now I feel like I've been taken for a ride. What do you think guys.

There is so much stuff in it. Our income is low. What is the best way to go about getting rid of this stuff. Wall to Wall STUFF!! My father in- law wants to profit from his STUFF. How do I go about getting a loan to fix this place up with our bad credit history and low income?

We moved to a rural area and there has been a few mice in here.. We were told it is part of living out here. Our apt. is very clean and new. WE ARE MORTIFIED AT THE THOUGHT OF THIS. Do you know anything about this?? Also they are usually in shock from the cat, they just sit there when we put them out, is that safe or should we put them in the woods?

He sold his condo with his realtor and now we are in my condo and need to sell it and will use my realtor. However, when it comes to buying our new home, who do we use? He likes his, and I like mine and we both like eachothers but obviously can only use one. His realtor has offered 20% off his commision and we aren't sure what my realtor will offer. His realtor is more familiar with another city but says he knows enough about where we want to buy, while mine is very familair with where we plan on buying.

Rentals have increased to exhorbitant levels over the last couple of years and I do not know what cities I am going to get answers from, but it seems to me thru checking into rentals/one bedrooms and duplexes in various desirable cities around the U.S., such as New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami, even locations in great places like Colorado and North Carolina and Tennessee have gone up soooo much! Surely the property taxes, insurances taxes, etc. have gone up, but not that much to justify "higher than the sky" rent increases. Would love to hear from you out there in your city, tell me how goes it there. I am living in Miami, Florida. And on top of that owners do not want to be responsible for anything or the bare minimum upgrades and repairs. The tenants where I rent do not have leases, we're month-to-month. Had one when I first moved in. It's the same old story, everything goes up except the incomes!! Thank you so much for your responses guys!
