I need to mail two miniature lily bulbs back to the company and I don't have time to go to the post office. I have first class stamps, but how much are they in postage? According to the weight I need $1.59 in postage, and they're both about 1 inch in diameter. Help me understand this crap!

We are living in a rented apartment in Switzerland which has under floor heating, but there are no thermostats, and we are finding that we are far too warm during the night. There is a cupboard with a few horizontal pipes. Each has a tap...one for the bedroom, one for the lounge etc., but again no way of controlling the temperature as far as I can see. Can anyone help?

I am painting the exterior of my house with weatherbeater exterior paint I purchased at sears.I went back to sears to purchase a couple of gallons of paint in the color I am using to paint my house.Well sears said that they were out of weatherbeater exterior paint and will not be ordering anymore until spring does anyone know where I can get weatherbeater exterior paint in the color of my choice online.I would like to find a site where I can order the weatherbeater paint in the color I am painting my house.does anyone know of such a site.I need to finish painting house before it starts to rain.

Do they get your clothes as clean? Also, I know you have to use less detergent, but is that the special detergent made for those machines, or does that apply to regular detergent as well?

I had an offer on my home and the contract was ratified. The buyer had seven days to conduct a home inspection. They did and the home inspector made several damaging statements that turned out to be wrong. Most significantly the inspector stated my roof was leaking in four spots and had mold and moisture damage on the sheathing. A week later, a professional roofer inspected the roof and found no damage. Although the roofer did state the roof needed replaced (shingles) - but there was no leaks. The same inspector also stated that the electrical installation of our split HVAC system was faulty and a fire hazard. We had this professionaly installed and have a statment stating that it was wired to code.

The buyer stated in their release statement the reason was unsatisfactory home inspection. My question is can I/should I sue/seek settlement with the home inspector's company in that by my calculation their employee's lack of professionalism cost me the deal?
