I am painting the exterior of my house with weatherbeater exterior paint I purchased at sears.I went back to sears to purchase a couple of gallons of paint in the color I am using to paint my house.Well sears said that they were out of weatherbeater exterior paint and will not be ordering anymore until spring does anyone know where I can get weatherbeater exterior paint in the color of my choice online.I would like to find a site where I can order the weatherbeater paint in the color I am painting my house.does anyone know of such a site.I need to finish painting house before it starts to rain.

ask the manager of the paint dept. if they would special order it. You say you need to finish before it rains, I assume you live in a climate that does not get too cold. If that is the case than you can paint exteriors with a 35 degree paint through most of the winter and less than sunny days. Most 20 year latexs and longer rated latexs are 35 degree paints. And worse case senario is that you have to wait until spring which is only weeks away and not a life time away. bare wood or other exterior parts can last until then ,they aren't going to rot away. I have seen wood that was bare for 15-20 years and was still viable. Next time go to an actual paint store that will give you full serve and usually has enough stock on hand.

If you want to paint your car yourself, you would be a whole lot better off to get automotive paint like "truck and van" paint from wal-mart or any automotive store. It will take several cans depending on coverage and don't paint it in the sun no matter how cool it is outside. Only use the first 1/3 to 1/2 of the can to do the flat surfaces (hood, roof, etc.) Take your time and follow the instructions on the can. This type paint has an adjustable tip that makes the can function as a spray gun would. If you pay close attention to scuffing and masking everything you will be surprised with the results. Be sure and repair any body dammage before you start. I have painted 2 cars this way for friends who didn't have much money and they both have lasted several years and still look good. Use a light colored primer (grey) or the yellow will not cover the burgundy very well and show through. When you're done be sure and use the top coat to protect the paint. Rolling and brushing is just a bad idea. The paint will not hold up and won't look good either. If you need any further assistance feel free to contact me. Good luck.

Ask a manager at sears to check the computer system and search other stores who might have your paint in stock. If they won't, get phone numbers of store yourself and start calling.
If that fails, you can take a sample of your color to any paint store and they can match it to perfection.

try ebay, amazon, or home depot 's website. They should carry that stuff.
