Yeah house lizard is a problem in every house nowadays..
To drive away common house lizards it would be handy to try this method..
its very time consuming to drive away the lizards using peacock feathers, empty egg shells or other repellents!!!...
so what i would suggest you is dat to deal directly using a vaccum cleaner through which it can hardly elude the succing pressure..
if you dont have one (vaccum cleaner) ask your servant to drive away those lizards using a broom stick..
neway all d best yaar...

Hi. I was actually looking through to find some info on another subject and (sorry) I had a giggle at your expense.

There is no such thing as a common household lizard. Hence: The giggling.

I suggest you do not get rid of them. I live in the desert. Lizards are good. They eat the little critters that are killing your flowers. They eat mosquitos (hope I spelled that right) and flies and tics and other nasty flying and crawling hazards.

The same with non-poisonous snakes.

Raising rent. If that doesn't work, use a vacuum to gently relocate those pesky invaders to your neighbors house or to another otherwise unfrequented location, such as your local library. If your lungs are strong enough a straw and pension for inhaling will suffice. If this doesn't help that's okay, it just means the lizards are winning.

Lizards eat mosquitoes and small insects. If you disinfect the room/ house and ensure that there are no insects or mosquitoes, the lizards will disappear on their own. i.e when they get nothing to eat. One way of doing this is to paint the house clean. The other is to wash the house and all corners, and maintain the house clean airy and ensure that natural light enters the house.

You can make a duplicate inscect made of cotton tied with a string. wet it by water and through it on the wall, keet one end of string in your hand and wait for the lizard.the lizard will try to swellow it mistaking it to be an insect. Now youn can pull the string and catch the lizard in a bag to through it away.
But mind well, don't kill it. Just through it away because killing animals is not god. you know! TRY IT . It really works.
