You know those small green propane cans for portable grills. We got ours out tonight for the first time. Never used propane before. When we were done, we turned it off and removed it from the grill, but it still sounded like it wasleaking out gas. What's up? How do I make it stop?

I just moved into a brand new home and for some reason there's always these little flies (not fruit flies) flying around the kitchen, we never leave food out, but the problem seems to continue. Since I have a dog, I can't really spray them and of course they are so small and really fast, it's kinda hard to anyway. It's getting really annoying...pls help~~

Any one know of a good medium to use to grow a cherry seedling that's only about an inch big? I keep getting root rot. Same thing happens with apple and pear seedlings. I've read that it's due to overwatering whereby the roots do not get air. Will using sand help? Anyone here with a green thumb that can give advice?

I prefer to put leftover food down the toilet instead of in the garbage bag to avoid the smell in the kitchen. Is this bad? (I used to feed it to our dog but she has developed allergies...)

I've got this "leather" sofa in my home but not for sure if it's real leather. It used to be my brother's and gave it to me. Anything I should look/feel for on it? I've never owned a piece of furniture like this before. It isn't suede like leather(two belts, a watch, and a jacket).

I have heard that there is a real problem with settling due to the clay soil in my area and that this can be avoided by keeping the foundation moist. Is it enough to water every other day for about 18 minutes in this extreme heat (over 100 everyday for the last month). And how often should you water in the winter when the Bermuda grass goes completely dormant from Nov 15 to March 15. I have a poured pier foundation and a very thick slab but I have heard there are a lot of problems with people's foundations here and I want to do what is prophylactically necessary in order to insure that I do not have any problems. Any educated or experienced suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.

The serial number shows it to be made at the Elizabethport factory in Elizabeth, New Jersey in 1910.

I realize that condition will make all the difference in price. This one is in working order with a rawhide drive belt stapled together at the joint. Cabinet condition is FAIR to LESS THAN FAIR but complete with under-top drawers on both sides.

I am unfamiliar with Singer values and asking for any help or sources to continue research.
