They have SO many legs, I hate scorpions too cause they look like spiders. They come out of nowhere and just start to chase you....they can be anywhere just waiting to attack. They like hiding in dark spaces, so you'll never know if they're there.....some of them can actually jump! Some of them can swim, so you can't kill them with water!

I was terrified of spiders, I would freeze at the sight of them, quite literally.
A close relative had a tarantula as a pet, I thought kill or cure, so I asked would he put it on my hand. On my hand was OK, furry feeling, stationary, I am coping, and then very very slowly the spider decided to take a walk. Jesus I freaked .....but the happy ending to this story is. I can capture a large spider in a glass, and put it out of the house, with little or not too much trauma.

Nothing. Spiders are marvelous arachnids. You should watch them build their webs, it's incredible. The tapestry, the weaving and they are stunning when there is dew on each of the threads looking like an amazing pearl neck-less, but much more stunning and priceless. Humanity has marveled the spider for hundreds of year. In fact we borrow spider web designs and materials for cloth from certain spider species. There is nothing whatsoever that is scary about them.

because so many of them bite and you really never know for sure what kind bit you and some bites are VERY serious! I fortunately have a good surgeon who knows what reaction the common poisonous spiders cause. Since June of 2005 I have been bit 3 times! 2 bites required surgery. One was a desert recluse and they had to operate on that one twice. At least that is why I don't like those nasty critters!

On Thursday, i was held hostage by the biggest spider i have ever seen, it was on the wall of my bathroom, and i couldnt get in for a pee for 2 hours, until i my brov in law finally arrived to evict it for me!!
I wouldnt say there scary, just bloody disgusting!!!

Spiders are okay. I'm a weaver. I like spiders. Learnt everything I know from them.

they move without warning in crazy directions fast 2. Long time ago i did something real bad to one, he was freaking me out and was big im sure in my mind it had a human head, anyway, it was facing me and after watching a james bond film took his advice and found a lighter and a deoderant spray can. and flamed grilled the mofo. OMG it was in flames and made a screeching noise and ran towards me and my buddy. It was so damn scary. Mentally scarred for life.........

They can shoot six guns at once (7 at a push), and because they have spider sense, they always win Quick Draw Duals...

They move too fast and have too many legs. Their webs also. If you walk into a web you (I) imagine they are walking as quickly over me as they run across the ground. A horrible thought.

I don't know why people find them so scary. I think they are awesome. I get amazed by their beautiful webs and find them quite harmless!
