I prefer Cotton after hanging on the line, that fresh clean outdoor smell.. After a hot shower climbing into bed its like awhhhh.. nitey nite world.. :D.. but now in the winter flannel is the best. Cotton for summer. and Satin only for special occassions if you know what I mean.. :-)

this depends of the season and you can use satin in special occasions in winter the best is flannel in summer is cotton (remember that flannel is cotton too but the mesh is more big so is more hot inside) the thin sheets are more fresh( I love satin for the texture but is a trouble with them are very slippery and this is a disadvantage)of course depends of the the place that you living is not the same Illinois than Miami....so....

In the Summer cotton, because when it is super hot you don't feel as uncomfortable in the bed since cotton stays cool.
In the Winter definitely flannel because it provides lots of warmth.
