I have been looking for either a 2 bedroom with a basement or a 3 bedroom around Elgin,IL.If anyone knows any good websites or even places, please help!

go to google and type in Elgin Apartments. If you need to narrow it down you can add IL to the search.
You can try sites like rent.com, apartments.com, roommate.com, etc.

Look at the newspaper website of your particular town that usually has a renting website affiliated with the paper.

www.rent.com and if you rent through them you get a $100.00 reward. Be sure to check out their $100. reward policy when going to the site. I used it and $100. comes in handy right after you move.
