funny you should ask, my sister just phoned with the same question and I'll tell you the same, "I can't explain it over the phone, I'll have to come around and show you". When I got there I couldn't do it anyway it was completely different to my machine so i guess you need the manual.

On the top right of most sewing machines there is a place to put the bobbin to thread it. On our machine, you put the thread thru the bobbin and then stick the bobbin on the top right of the spool of thread on top of the machine. Then you hold the thread that you stuck thru the bobbin and it pops off when you touch the foot petal and the bobbin fills w/ thread that way. It has been a while since I have sewn, so I really recommend you look at the owner's manual or check them out on-line if you don't have the manual. Some machines, like sergers, are really hard to get threaded.
