Went to mow my lawn today and my plastic gas cap on the mower is all hacked-up! went to change it with my other mower and same thing, and on my chain saws and snowblowers!
Upon closer examination it looks like pencil wide tooth marks.

And are they dangerous?
I have a plant and on it was a strange looking fly, I could have sworn it was a mosquito.

The main reason I'm asking this question is because I've noticed a lot of new homes don't have T&G wood flooring anymore and they have fiberglass tubes instead of ceramic tile tub surrounds. Another thing is that disgust me is that the only trim they use is 4" baseboard. What ever happened to crown molding and wainscotting?

They look like giant wasps, they burrow in the ground and lay eggs then they put Cicadia in the burrows for the larve to feed on. I have about 10 burrows in my yard and don't know how to get rid of them.

It seems that the postal service will be sending even MORE junk mail an advertisements through our letter boxes in the future.
I normally put most of it in the paper recycle. Any ideas how to STOP it in the first place, or what to do with it, more worrying is it often has my address on it, so this can leave one open to fraud???

Freezer broke down, meat thawed, juices drained into into drip pan under the fridge. Unfortunately it is not very accessible, nor removeable so I cannot clean it out, nor dump it out, but I can access it to get to put some chemicals into the pan. Has anyone tried anything???

I live in an apartment building and the fire alarm gets pulled every weekend at like 2:30am (always a false alarm) not very many people even bother to leave the building anymore because there have been so many false alarms.
The fire department comes out and turns off the alarm, I asked one of the firefighters last night if they had any suggestions on ways to prevent this from happening in the future and what I as a resident could do. He said there was nothing except to tell people to stop being jerks.
Do you think that's true? Or was he just blowing me off?
There's got to be something I can do, or complain to my landlord enough to do something.
