I have had my lawn sprayed and I have watered in granuals to get rid of cranefly in my yard,but they keep coming back and causing big brown spots.What can I do?

craneflies do leave larvae in your lawn,and cause alot of damage.I looked it up on the net.

Craneflies? Crane flies are those insects that look like huge mosquitoes. They're good guys, eating tons of mosquitoes. I've never heard of them having lawn-damaging larvae. Is there another name that you know of or a description?
