We currently have a hand held shower head & the pressure blows, no matter the setting. Could IT be the problem, since the pressure seems fine in all the sinks?

My house is currently under rain water invasion. Rain water comes into the living room from our balcony the balcony servers as the roof of the living room. The ceiling is damaged and rain water comes in from a hole as large as a one dollar coin. The situation is getting worse during heavy rain fall. I wish to find out how much it will cost me and how long it will take fully repair it. I've upload the images to the following http://au.geocities.com/mycatmiaomiao/roof.htm

I'm having a problem with electric dryer. I decided to check the wiring for the 3-prong 240V outlet. The 2 black wires are 10 gauge but the 1 white wire is 12 gauge. We're experiencing problems with the dryer intermittently shutting off & blowing the circuit breaker. Could 12 gauge wire possibly be the cause of this problem? It doesn't seem worth rewiring the outlet unless there's a good chance that the 12 gauge is the problem. The dryer's power cord seems to be wired correctly. I guess there might be a problem with the dryer, but I'm trying to avoid replacing the dryer just to find out that I have a wiring problem.

I noticed the sound this morning when I thought I hadn't turned off the water all the way. The water was off but the water heater sounds like water is running in it. There is nothing draining in the floor.

We have a oil summer winter boiler system. We get our hot water from the same system that provides our heat. They seem to have separate plumbing. Can I leave off my hot water overnight as I need to replace some of my plumbing lines and want to let the glue dry on the CPVC pipe. Will I stillbe able to have heat?? Thanks for any advice.

As you probably know the cost of gas and electric is becoming inhibitive in price. We are looking for a space heater to use instead & save.

My garbage disposal is not working. It does not appear to be stuck as I can manually turn it from underneath the sink. Also, I can spin the bades when I put my hand in it. When I turn it on, I can hear the power going to it, but nothing happens. Any ideas as to anything else I can try? Any help woud be much appreciated.

I have a mobile home that has a set of breakers/breaker box on each half of the house.

At first the electricity on both halves was working fine. But now there's a problem with one side. The power output on the problemed side is a lot weaker than the other half.

Some lights from different rooms on the problem side aren't working. And when they do work- they grow dim, very weak or will not work at all when another light in a different room from that same side of the house is turned on.

What could be the cause?

For example, in the rest room on the bad side of the house, the lights may be on, but if I plug in and start up a heater in there, the lights get much brighter!

Any help is greatly appreciated.
