My fridge is now level. The top portions of my fridge and freezer are not cooling properly. (It's a side by side) What's the deal?

Sounds typical of a refrigerator with a low refrigerant charge. Refrigerant will last forever unless there is a leak and it is escaping. So, now we need to find a leak. Leak searching on small appliances is very difficult. Use soap solution and wet all soldered connections looking for bubbles. If the leak is found, now we have another prob. These appliances now days are made at as low cost as possible. So, the manufacturers do not weld in service valves at the factory so they can have refrigerant added. This means you will need to but high quality peircing valves and hope they do not begin to leak when you install them. Another problem. Now you must add refrigerant which can only be purchased by EPA certified people. And you must know how to charge a refrigerator. Conclusion: Because of the big companies competing with each other they have built these appliances in a manner where the most reasonably financial thing to do is dispose of the appliance and buy another from them.

First check to see that the settings are appropriate , the adjustment dials can be found in the refrigerator side , generally toward the back and top. If this is not the problem then it is likely that the coolant level is insufficient and it may be time for a new fridge .

It sounds like the evaporator fan(freezer fan) is not working.
