On one part of the floor, a concrete patch meets with the floorboards. They are not the same level - maximum 1/2 inch in the difference. Is there something I can do to level this off? Someone said levelling compound but with movement in the boards and the concrete being non-flexible, could this work? Is there something else that might do the job? \i'd be very grateful to anyone who can help me with this. Thank you.

The kids were fussing and fighting, and I had both caps off...oil and gas. I ended up putting some gas where the oil goes. Now, it won't start. I drained it and refilled it several times. What should I do? I didn't put a LOT of gas in, but it still won't work.

When the washer's water goes out it backs up into the hall bath tub, plus the commodes won't flush. And to add to the problem if someone is taking a bath at the time that the washer water is going out the water wont go out of the tub. ( I have two 1/2 baths) If there are any plumbers out there please respond with your expert advice. Let me add this, the problem didnt start until I hooked my washer up, everything was running, flushing, and going out fine, until the washer got to spinning and water was going out. Oh yes the kitchen sink gets wash water also. PLUMBERS PLEASE HELP ME, or at least tell me what you think the problem might be. I know there is a problem.

I have several lights and receptacles on one circuit. One switch controls 2 tandem fluorescent light fixtures in one room and throws the breaker when it's turned on. None of the other switches or receptacles on this circuit causes a tripped fuse. These are not new.....they've been working fine for a long time, then one day one fixture went out and the other still worked. Then while the second was on (this was about a month later), it popped and tripped the fuse and continues to when switched on (trips immediately).

I don't want to call in an electrician if I just need to replace the fixtures or balasts, but I don't want to try replacing them if it's a wiring/short problem (it's old wiring, so the insulation could have worn over the years causing contact, but I can't see any evidence......I won't try playing electrician anymore unless it's something simple). Any thoughts on what's causing this or how to correct or at least test for it? Thanks.

I had a coupon that said "69.00 to clean with up to 10 vents and only 1 cold air return. It ended up costing $225, they missed a cold air return and they wanted another $189 for the sanitization.

Recently I've noticed that whenever I leave a little bit of water in a dish and put it away, little bugs are born from it, and then later I'll find like thirty little insect corpses strewn about inside the dish. They are about an eigth of an inch, or about 2-3 milimeters in length. I'm not sure if I should be worried that I'm drinking bug egg water or not. I'd like to know how it's affecting my system, and how I would get rid of them if it is a dangerous problem. Oh yeah, I did a little research and found that they may be pinhead crickets... but it's still a little worrisome. Thanks.
