I would use muriatic acid. it is a strong acid that you mix with water, spray on the brick, let it sit for 5min, and then hose it off. you should be able to find it at any REAL paint store, not lowes or depot. be careful, it will burn your skin, and keep the grass/plants, etc wet so that it doesn't hurt them. i used it on my house and it worked well. a power washer instead of a hose would do even better to spray it off.

Pressure washer is the answer. Buy one, borrow a friend's, or rent one.

probably a pressure washer, if you don't have a strong one, it would probably be better to find someone with a good one
