I had a coupon that said "69.00 to clean with up to 10 vents and only 1 cold air return. It ended up costing $225, they missed a cold air return and they wanted another $189 for the sanitization.

If they have not been cleaned in a long time or if you live in an especially dusty are it is probably a good idea, as a lot of bad stuff cal live in in ducts, most of which is not good for any respiratory problems. This expense is a lot less that Dr. trips or RX. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure etc.

i was thinking about getting mine cleaned for the first time (i've lived here 7 yrs so i'm sure i'm overdue)....i've seen specials here in chicago for it, but now i guess i need to be careful of the bait & switch....i know they do things like that with carpet cleaning companies, but thanx for warning me about this!
