mr clean magic eraser....it worked for getting sharpie marks off of my window sills

It sounds like it has been on there more than a few hours, so one trick is to color over the existing mark with a dry-erase marker, and wipe it off with a dry cloth. This may take several attempts. If that fails, then I would look for a spot that's hidden to test other methods. You don't want the solvent to take the finish off the table. Rubbing alcohol would be my first choice. If that fails, then take a Q-tip dipped in mineral spirits and dampen the mark and wipe off quickly. Just do your best to not go through the finish, and you will be fine. Worst case scenario.....it's better to have a slight difference in the finish, than a permanent marker stain.

try using wd-40... be sure to try it in a hidden area first. it shouldnt hurt the finish, but be sure to try in an area not easily seen.

try spot rubbing it with vinegar,vinegar will not hurt the wood as you can polish with it

as a last resort, you might have to sand it an repaint it.
