We used to put on some shorts, grab this cleanser called "SOFT SCRUB" similar to like comet or so except soft scrub doesn't scratch, it's mildly abbrassive, get in there with a sponge and scrub....worked awesome..and we would only need to do it every now and again. Really really good stuff. local supermarkets carry it, very popular. have fun..!

We use "scumbBug" which we get at our spa dealer, but you can also find it at pool supplies. We actually keep it in the spa and use it as the scum and deposits accumulate. It is a specially made material that is safe for spa shells and removes the deposits effortlessly. I think it costs around $2.99 and one lasts for 3-4 months with regular use. It does a great job and by using it whenever you use the spa, you don't ever get the build-up. They do, however, make products that are safe for spa finishes and remove the scum and deposits. Check them out at America's Best Pool Supply they have the cheapest chemicals.

Definately SoftScrub...use one of those nylon scrubbie things.

When finished, give a quick wipe down with Old English Lemon Oil
It will prevent future build-up, and make it easier to clean.
