As my aprtmnet management promised 24 hr service where I live since Nov 2002, never received and never saw their response in 24 hrs.1. Moreover last month they took the closet doors to repaint but not returned yet, when I called they r saying they disposed those doors and they will replace with new but not as one month passed. 2. Once I called for carpet change their service man inspected and told it is 7yrs old, their manager will call us to schedule an appointment to change, we got call and they said they can do it in July, as I am pregnant my due date is near to that time we asked managemnet let us move to another apt in same community as of same dimensions, they agreed only if we pay the new rent ( MArket rate). 3. Elevator expiry limit was over, and they didn't inspect or change renewal paper. It jerks a lot when it starts and stops and I am uncomfort as I am 8 months pregnant and I can't go on stairs. I compalined mangmnt, they r not respnding, I called corprate off. no response.

I have an 800 square foot condo with a 1 ton unit. Is this normal? Or should it be a 2 ton unit?

The neighbors house runs the entire length of my condo and threatens my unit and 3 others. The backyard is an abundance of overgrowth from the weeds, grass, and other shrubs. Any small spark will start a fire and there is enough dead leaves and shrubs to serve as fuel to catch many of the neighboring homes; which are only 10-15' away from their backyard...close enough for a fire to jump.

who in Contra Costa County should i be contacting to report this problem and force them to upkeep their backyard?

We just moved into the house 3 months ago, but the house was empty for almost a year, so there hasn't been a fire in quite some time.

I just got a pool and I have been running my pump about 3 hrs every day, keeping it chlorinated and giving it shock treatments about once a week, which is about all the time we swim in it. It holds 3000 gallons of water. We had heavy rain the last couple of days so I had the cover over it and when I just removed it I saw the water was green. HELP!

I hear if you pour rock salt in your toilet that it will keep the roots from growing because tree roots can't grow in salt water.

I do not have sofisticated equipment here. Sometimes water turns brown when standing in the basin for a while..The old pipes were galvanized iron. the set up is about 20 years old.

I have a 1.5 ton condenser and a first company furdown evaporator. has a cap tube. the coils inside and out are clean. the system has had a deep vacuum pulled, and is charged correctly (weighed in ). the head pressure is 200 psi, but my suction pressure is 85-90. there are no driers on the unit. and I can't see any obvious restrictions. It sweats back good but is only blowing out 63 degrees. any Ideas?

When i turn it on, it is makes a buzzing sound but nothing happens.

Usually it made a whole lot of noise and ate up everything.

I tried pressing the little red button on the disposal, but no use.

Any clue anyone?

These are recessed, four tube fixtures in a dropped ceiling in her half-finished basement. The traditional open-style, two tube fixtures in the workshop are always fine. When it dries out, the enclosed lights also work fine. This has been going on for 2 years now and nobody can figure it out. The recessed fixtures and open fixtures are on different switches, but the swithces are in the same box.
