So my old garage door is trashed, and I need a new one. My garage door opener will work on either panneled garage doors, or the single piece ones. I also want to install one of those automatic garage door lock devices, because I think garage doors are a major security risk.

Which type of garage door should I get? Another single piece one with hinges, or a sectioned one that rolls up on tracks? Which one can I make the most secure?

The floor I need to seal is in a school cafiteria. It is about 50 x 30 and has been cleaned very well. There are a few minor stains in the grout bt very little and not noticable. We need to seal it and would like to bring the shine back to the tile.

I purchased the proper nylon bearings and they are smaller than the wheel shaft that the wheel fits on. Is their a special way that these bearing fit on front wheel of the garden tractor? There are two bearings to each wheel front and back and are black nylon .in colour. I am very puzzled that they do not go on easy. Bill

I removed the 8 screws but I'm not sure how to remove the panel.
The 2 side panels have a lip that overlaps the back panel.
I'm trying to get it apart so I can check the belts and drum to see why it keeps binding up.
Thank You!

it is dented, oxidized, and the chaulking is coming off. I thought just to replace it with stucco, but perhaps its cheaper to have it rechaulked, pieces that are dented replaced with? , and repainted. Any suggestions?

I was told I have water damage to the subfloor under my toilet. I assume that means pipes and/or toilet fixtures that are leaking, which once located will need repairing, plus replacing the wood subfloor where damaged.
Do I need a water damage specialist, plumbing contractor, wood floor contractor? I have no idea, but can't handle too many different contractors....

Hi,
I just installed some 21 foot ceiling joists for my Garage addition. The ends are nailed down, and are fine. My worry is the center. It is kinda flimsy and moves with the wind. Should I put blocking between them in the center, or does anyone have a better idea??
Thanks in advance.....

My washer is a kenmore direct drive and after some research I believe it might be the clutch or the rod that runs up the center of the agitator. Any thoughts?

me and my husband are selling our home and the closing is in a week..
My husband is a contractor, he pretty much remodeled our whole house now. One day, 3 of our tiles in the laundry room cracked. So he had to replace them. after regrouting around the 3 tiles, he decided to grout the whole floor again. now here is the problem, he grabbed the wrong grout, which is very light beige, and the grout underneath is dark brown. It looks terrible.
I told my husband to fix it. He says he wont do it because he remodeled the whole house, hes tired of remodeling , and we lowered our price by 15,000 because the market is soo slow now.
I explained to him that when the people came to look at our home, they saw the laundry room with dark brown grout.

I cant get through to him!!

Can i do something about this? is there maybe a stain or something?
