As my aprtmnet management promised 24 hr service where I live since Nov 2002, never received and never saw their response in 24 hrs.1. Moreover last month they took the closet doors to repaint but not returned yet, when I called they r saying they disposed those doors and they will replace with new but not as one month passed. 2. Once I called for carpet change their service man inspected and told it is 7yrs old, their manager will call us to schedule an appointment to change, we got call and they said they can do it in July, as I am pregnant my due date is near to that time we asked managemnet let us move to another apt in same community as of same dimensions, they agreed only if we pay the new rent ( MArket rate). 3. Elevator expiry limit was over, and they didn't inspect or change renewal paper. It jerks a lot when it starts and stops and I am uncomfort as I am 8 months pregnant and I can't go on stairs. I compalined mangmnt, they r not respnding, I called corprate off. no response.

I don't know what town or city you live in, but go to town or city hall and ask where you, as a renter, can lodge a complaint against a landlord. I am sure they will help you at the clerk's office as to where to lodge the complaint. When you do complain, be sure to ask how the town or city handles such complaints and how you will know that there has been action and followup.

You deserve better and should get it!!

Good luck!!

Call the corporate office and tell them you have called a lawyer, that will get them moving. And also call the Better Business Bureau. E-mail a local news station as well. I know our local news station LOVES that kind of stuff.

Here is the website for the Better Business Bureau.

Congratulations on the baby, and I hope everything works out for you!

In a word, YES! It's no news that SOME people in a rehab for alcohol abuse have tried that one. There is both a physical and psychological dependence for people who abuse/have a problem with alcohol. It's probably a combination of both that would have them drink the mouthwash. If they didn't have one or both of those dependencies, they would not do it, even once.

See how far you can get with the town's Board of Health or Building Department. If that doesn't help, it looks like small claims court.

Each state has tenant/landlord laws - check with your local government to see how it covers your issue or look up federal law which some states follow also.
