For the past seven years I have been able to grow rhubarb from a bulb every year without any problems. I would get about 5kg of rhubarb every year and it was delicious. Now this year it's simply disappeared, it's not sprouted at all. Does rhubarb "sleep"? Could it come back next year? Or has it been eaten by something before it could grow? If so, what?

In the past two years, we have tried to grow some pumpkins. We have had great vines, but everytime they flower, they just wilt with no fruit. They look like they try to form some fruit, but it doesn't last. Is there something else we should try? I have put an all purpose fertilizer in the soil and then water them every couple of days, if there isn't any rain.

I have a group of small creatures with white oval shaped bodies and six black legs. They are so small that I think they could be the larvae stage of an insect. I would like to know what they are, and whether or not they will harm my garden.

the plant has a thick, dark purple stalk. The leaves are fairly dark green and branch out. The flowers are a creamy butter color with dark purple center. They grow down as they like bells.

I planted 5 lantana in my front flower bed on saturday. yesterday and today, I replanted then because they werent deep enough. Well, 2 of them look great but the other 3 are very droopy looking now. I watered tehm this morning with some miracle grow in the watering can. I dont want to overwater them because I know they are drought toerlant. What should i do? Should I just leave them alone? I am new to gardening so thanks in advance.

Is Labarinth the only RTF grass?

Is it available pure, or only in mixtures?

If it's only in mixtures, is it because it has defects, which the mixtures hide?

It was flourshing with many blooms that died back. I've had it only 2 weeks, it's close to a window with bright, not direct sun light. A store had a clearance and no one I knew would get one because they said they couldn't keep them alive. Now it's happening to this one I bought also.

Hi All, I have viewed a house I am considering to buy and would like to your opinion on the garden.

The garden slops downward quite a lot. There are bushes all around. The garden is shaped like a triangle where the pointy(narrow) bitis at the end of the garden.

There are some mature bushes at the edges and a cherry tree in the middle and apply tree near the side with further bushes at the end.

There is a small patio area near the patios door from the living room.

There is lawn too.

Any advice how I can make this look better and would it cost a lot of money to get it lanscaped.

I am not a big gardening person but willing to learn...

I have several containers of mini roses on my front porch and I noticed when I went out yesterday that my cream colored buds and opening buds had huge holes in the sides and it looked like someone had dug the insides out.... all of the centers of my buds are gone... any ideas what could be doing this and how to fix... I looked and didn't see any bugs or disease.. I have lots of buds, no leaf spot and they are growing great... just looks like something ate the center of my flowers.

I purchased a Hydrangea from the "nursery hospital". It just needed a little TLC. After 2 weeks, it was thriving in the pot it came in, so I planted it in the new flower bed with new soil. It faces west, but is shaded by our tree. The blooms are now colorless, dying and nothing new is growing. The leaves are still somewhat healthy, but??

I am starting my first garden blog focussing on the bullets below. Can you come up with an interesting title/name? Be creative, the bullets are just to give an idea, and that it's not a regular veggie blog.

I have a brain cloud. Thanks much!
