I got a freanch lavender plant at trader joe's just 3 days ago. When I bought it it was extremely healthy and no signs of wilting whatsoever. Within a couple of hours the plant was wilting. The soil was adequately moist as it was last wateres at the store, and I didn't water it because the research I had done about lavender says it prefers drier soil and shouldn't be watered too often. I just got it and don't want it to be a waste of money, what should I do?
Thanks

As a fair-weather gardener I have not been very active recently. And I have just found that the stems of a number of my dahlias have been cut (chewed presumably) near the tops of the plants. Are the culprits likely to be slugs/snails or black/green fly? (All are usually found in my garden about this time of the year.) If the pests are slugs/snails, why do they need to climb to near the tops of the plants when they could do their dirty deeds near the bottoms? Some of the leaves have also been chewed, but no caterpillars or butterflies have been spotted. Please advise. Thanks.

the plant is woody and I mainly see it growing in ditches when we drive through the country. It has many small leaves groupled together. the flowers are red and bunched together like lilacs and smell like some sort of jam. I picked a flower when I went for a walk earlier to get a closer look. The stem felt sticky when I was carrying it home. I'm just curious about this plant. I tried googling it but I couldn't find anything like it. I am from mn btw if the plant varies in certain areas

I have plenty of tomatoes hanging on my 10 tomatoe plants. However, they are all green and various sizes. I wonder is it now visible to cut back on watering, so that I will have red tomatoes to eat soon? I live in Northern Utah and we have extreme heat weave.
