Ok this is freaking me out! I took my puppy out this morning and found all these tiny little holes in my yard. There is no soil around them or anything like that. Just looks like someone stuck their finger in the ground a million times. I am sooooooooooo worried that they are spiders, because in the fall there were these webs in my yard and the rest of the neighborhood that had little tunnels in the middle. Anyone know what they could be??

She always shows up in my yard while I am gardening. She wears loose tops and bends over in front of me so that I can see her breasts. She never is wearing a bra either.

It is having an effect on me now, how do I handle?

I want to lay bermuda sod. The area is a lot of bare dirt, weeds, and possibly some patches of St. Augustine. The area used to be more shaded, but I cut a tree down. I believe tilling the area would be troublesome as I would run into a lot of tree roots. Can I just spread an inch or two of topsoil over the whole area and lay the sod? Do I need to kill what's there before I do this?

This is my first spring in a house with a garden and I have no idea what I'm doing!
The garden has a lawn, a huge evergreen bush, a pond with two fish, bedding areas, a patio with moss all over it and a spot at the bottom that I thought would make a nice vegetable/fruit patch.

So....

How often do I cut the lawn?
How often do I trim the hedge?
Do the fish need feeding?
When do I plant stuff?
How do I prepare a vegetable patch?
How do I get rid of the moss?

Lots of questions I know! Can anyone help me?

all of my azaleas are planted in the same spot, they all get the same amount of morning sun and the same amounts of fertilizers and water. They all flower at different times, why is this so?

a horticulturist has recently done this and states publicly that there in no appreciable difference to his blooms. There is so much info about rose pruning one is apt to get confused especially as there are so many types, hybrid tea.floribunda. standards, bushes, shrubs, climbers, ramblers, French, English and others, all, we are told should be pruned differently. Its a bit confusing ain't it. I am leaning towards the chainsaw method as the bloke next door hasn't a clue yet his roses are as good as mine, after I've spent hour after hour slight pruning in Autumn to prevent wind 'rock', full pruning about now to an outfacing bud at an angle to prevent rain steeping into stem causing die back. Are we being conned
by the so called experts? or is whackin e'm off with a chainsaw a more expedient way? I'm a bit of a coward and
cannot bring myselt to such drastic action. What are your views roselovers?

I planted two crape myrtle trees about two months ago. They are about 3 1/2 feet right now, not dwarf bushes but trees, and they have tons of braches but I was wandering when they start to bud...i think I am getting over anxious because some of the other trees are budding and I am not sure when to expect these to...

I can see it from my sitting room window. He has a medicine bottle upside down on a stick. The stick's about six feet high. The only thing I can think of is that it's food for a sunflower he's hoping to grow but its been there all winter and I can't see anything in the bottle. I know, I'm a nosy neighbour.

My house was built in 1997 and while I was working in the yard, I strated digging up garbage, paint cans, bricks etc. The builders did not throw away thier garbage, instead just buried it. Im thinking that this is what has caused me not to be able to maintain a lawn. When I sod my yard it quickly goes brown, and stays infested with weeds and fungus. I have treated my yard with fungucide, and for critters yet nothing is working. I also have a tree that I planted in the yard that has grown fungus and has not grown in the 7 years. Is there anything that I can do to treat the soil?

Hello. I need a little help from all you gardeners out there. I bought about 10 herbs from the local nursery the other day and planted them in the appropriate sized pots. I was just wondering if anybody had any tips for caring for them. I live in south Louisiana if that makes a difference. Also, the pots are outside. I had a small herb garden once before and killed them all. So I was just looking for a little advice so that this doesn't happen again! Thanks!
