I planted Mammoth Sunflowers about 2 months ago and they are about 4 1/2 foot tall. I live in Florida and from 12pm till 5 or 6pm the flowers hang down and sag. Is this normal? How much do you water them?

I had my patio extended 7 feet to allow room for out 14' round x 3' deep pool. The concrete was poured 3 1/2 to 4" deep without any wire. The plan is to have aproximatly 7' on my original (10yr old) pad and the other 7 feet on the new pad. Without rebar is this going to be a problem?

I've heard you can change the colors of the flowers on a hydrangea plant but I'm not sure how to do it. I wanted to change it from blue to more of a purple color. Anyone how or where I can find out how?

I 'invested' in a bunch of water hose quick couplers a few years back with the brand name of Lego. Can't remember where I got them but have been back to all the big box stores and my usual hardware stores and have not found them.

I would like to purchase others and indeed have bought other brand names but they are designed just differently enough that they are not interchangable. Unleast I have not found what is compatible with the Lego brand. Any advice out there?

Can anyone give me some insight as to why my tomatoes are staying small and green this year instead of growing to full size and turning red? This has never happened to me before. Any ideas why, and what I can do to make them grow/ripen.

Recently our 3-stories tall avocado tree with tons of heavy, unripe fruits (green, smooth glossy skin) has been falling immature avocados. And within the past week, two arm size branches has fallen down, hit the root and bended the gutter a bit.

As I was cleaning the up the mess, I noticed the wood are extremely easy to break without any tools.

So my concern is...

1) Shall I have it professional pruned ASAP because I am afraid that someone might get hurt from it?

2) I have at least 10 lbs of unripe avocados "harvest" from the recent fall... what else can I do with them besides tossing them in the yard waste bin?

Thanks in advance!

I have an enclosed lower patio and wish to keep the existing compacted gravel over the majority of its surface, but after heavy rainfall the water sits in a pool before draining after a few minutes.
Any suggestions to improve drainage? Thanks
