without anybody know you did it? It is my front yard that is owned and maintained by a homeowners association. It is a mess and is ruining our driveway and cars. The HOA won't take it out.

Do not pour oil or gasoline around the roots. Apart from the pollution issue it will scorch the grass, giving away what you have done. I seriously doubt that it will have any effect on a mature Eucalyptus.

As you have discovered, Eucalyptus trees have no place in suburbia gardens.

My advice to you is to move when your lease is expired. There are sneaky underhand ways of killing large trees like this but you need to be accredited to be able to purchase the chemicals required for the job.

i hate to say it but working in the tree business i have seen a few ways.

Ring the tree, cut all the bark around the tree

drill a hole in the tree and put poison in it

dump gas around the base of the tree

You could try pounding a whole bunch of copper nails into it. I don't know if it will work in your case, but it sure can kill an evergreen. If that doesn't work you can drill holes in it and pour in poison.

Wait until is rains alot.Pour lots of rock salt around it. The salt will kill that tree.

1st. = YOU NEED to pour hot water to the roots.
2nd. = YOU NEED to pour used machine oil to the roots.



-be careful the tree may fall...

have it cut down and dig up the roots.
