Can anyone give me some insight as to why my tomatoes are staying small and green this year instead of growing to full size and turning red? This has never happened to me before. Any ideas why, and what I can do to make them grow/ripen.

They just seem to be ripening slower this year. Just sit back and wait. The early ones that I got were worth the wait, so wait until they are good and ready.

My tomatoes are just the same as yours this year. Small and green. They are in a south facing garden so get full sunlight every day, they are fed twice weekly with Miracle Grow and are watered. Wish I knew where I had gone wrong this year! :(

Also this year lost all my strawberry plants and green beans and my herbs are dying after the heatwave we had. Think the heat made the bugs grow bigger too everything looks half eaten!

They are...? That's....odd. Hmmm. Maybe something in the weather has changed the plants' growth plant, so they are staying small and green-or it could be a mutation. I am not entirely sure. She if the climate has differed at all since last year. Take notes. We'll see what happens.

Put them in the window seal to ripen or to turn red.

maybe they aren't getting enough sun... you can always pick them green and put them in a paper bag in your house to ripen them. You can also make awesome relish from green tomatoes!

Put miracle grow on them. Are they in the sun? Getting plenty of water? They need sun, water, and nutrients to grow big and red.

Do they have enough soil? Fertilize them? Pick them and put them in a paper bag they will turn red in a few days.

Mine are the same way. I am just praying that they will get bigger and red. So far nothing.

I think it might be the drought. Good luck.
