I tracked down the company from taking it off the house to Variform. However this company no longer makes this siding. People who have it in a box want to charge $180.00 a box for it. All I need is one section. It comes in a savana blue. I tried GP (george pacifc) however it is too dark. I really just want the colors to match. Do you guys know about painting it or what..... What would be the normal route from here. I don't want to take any from the back of my house either.......

Today is a bank holiday so everything is closed (including the electricity company and my landlord's office). I just moved into my new appartment and I have no gas and no electricity. I need urgent help because I am on a deadline and have important work to do on my computer.

I have signed up for electricity and gas with the company already so normally it should already work. My accounts are up to date.

I found both the gas control box and the electricity fuse box and I can't switch on any of them!! I mostly need electricity right now.

SO I tried switching on the switches in the electric fuse box, including the bigger one (for overall control). The lights are not working, neither are the electric plugs.

Since I have already signed up for gas and electricity, I suppose that there's a problem with the fusebox. The problem is that I can't remove the fuses from the box to see if they are the problem. They're like stuck inside the fusebox. Is there a problem with wiring?

I have an old countertop and it's a solid color laminate from the 70s or something. I want to replace it. I wonder if I could buy new laminate and put it on top of the old one. Is that possible?

The lady at Home Depot told me I might not need to seal it, that the paint would be enough. I bought a line from Behr called Kitchen and Bath which supposedly gives a stronger finish? What do you guys think????????

A window unit air conditoner was removed from a window with a metal frame. A screw through the window frame was broken off leaving about 1/4" between the screw and frame. I have tried metal snips and a small hacksaw with no success.
