It really all depends on what materials you are willing to use, the size of your house, the stuff you will put in it, and the overall amount of money you are willing to spend.

It is almost impossible to estimate the cost of building a house with any degree of accuracy unless you know a)the type of house you require b)the type of construction you require i.e. traditional, timberframe kit etc c)who is going to design the property d)are the services close by for connection e)is the plot easily accessible from public roads f)the cost of construction is also regional .Consult a good builder in the area. There are many other considerations. Beware of underestimation of the construction costs always allow a fairly large contingency and a longer time for completing the building than the builder estimates

ok first of all it depends on where you are building it and if you want to include the land price. materials to build a house without the land payments would be around $60- $100,000. are you building it yourself? if so, there would be no labor cost . it also depends on how many bed/baths and how big of a house you want. just go to your local menards or home depot and look at there house plans and you can type in a code onto a little computer by the building supplies or materials desk and it tells you how much the supplies would be . good luck!

Size, location, trim level, and climactic considerations all affect cost. The first factor is obvious, the bigger the house, the more material and labor to build it. Location affects land cost as well as labor rates. Trim level includes things like type of siding, plaster vs. Sheetrock, window designs and brands, flooring, and details like crown moldings. You want the house you build to be appropriate for the area in which you live. Check houses for sale to see what other people are doing in your town. Finally, cold-climate construction, like in New England, requires different and more costly construction than areas that do not see snow. Good luck!

That partially depends on your area and what amenities you add. Normally the best way to compare is how much it will cost you per square foot. Mine cost me about $65-$70 per square foot when I had it built in 2004. Of course that is here in Indiana. If you were building the same house in California it would cost you much more per square foot.

it really depends on how big it is, if you do it all your self, and if you take out a loan or not. My family has been building a house for the last 8 year in our spare time, it is 75 thousand spuate feet, valued at a million but we have only payed about half of that because we have done everything ourselfs.

According to a contractor I know It costs $7,000.00 in building materials per level of a midsized house(Not including appliances for the kitchen.) The rest of the cost is for labor, inspections, and city hookups.

My brother who is a contractor said that $60 per sq. ft. is the lower end of an estimate in our area for the type of home he builds which are nice basic home but with not too many frills. We live in NE Texas. If you want a roof with lots of angles and such it will add to the cost per ft. Also built ins, higher quality tiles, special bath features,stone/marble cabinet tops, etc. Best wishes!

Depends not only where you want to build but how big the house will be. Unless you give specific demensions it's hard for people to answer.
