If i remember my geology correctly, granite has a density of 2.66 or a cu/ft of granite is 2.66 times heavier than a cu/ ft of water.
1 cu/ft of water weighs 62.4 lbs x 27 [cu /ft in a cu/yd ]= 1684 .8 lbs x2.66=4481.5 lbs
make sure that its actually granite - which means is mosly light in color. If it's darker,it will be heavier
BTW the person that gave the previous answer divided by 2.2 [pounds in a kilogram] rather than multiplied.

A simple web search says the average granite density is 2.75 g/cm3. Since a yard is 91.44 cm (36 inches x 2.54 cm/in), a cubic yard is 764555 cm3, which would be 2102525 g, or 2103kg. This is about 4627 lb.

Mr. Danger is correct; practical answer is too much to move around if it is one giant slab, would require heavy machinery
