I am renting and don't like the linolium in my kitchen, If it was in the living room I could get an area rug. I was wondering if there was anything of the sort for kichens? Or a way to make ugly linolium look nice. Thank you in advance

These were used some time ago. They look like rugged wood. They have a design hewn out on them. We need to cover some pipes on the basemant ceiling where we are making a den.

On a domestic scale - I would love a log cabin with a stone chimney. It would be located near or in Nashville, TN.

On a grander scale - how about a small-ish castle in Scotland.

I am making a net to hang stuffed animals from one corner of the ceiling, and need to know what the inches would be between the center point of the triangle if two sides are 5' and the longer side is 7'. This will be for my grandchild's room. Thanks!

I listen to records all my stereo equipment is vintage, I only like those tv's with the knobs. I have funky patchwork quilts on my bed, my appliances are mid 20th century. Is there anyone else out there who thinks old stuff looks so much better than today's crap?

It's my first time redocorating and I have yet to decide what type of theme. Should I pick a color of paint I like first and purchase items that match afterwards or buy the items then choose the paint. What's the best way to go about it?

I bought 4 chalk ware/plaster fish on eBay. They do not have any attachments on the back. What's the best way to attach a hanger on the back? Which type of hanger would work? I'm nervous about drilling a hole into the back because they are pretty old and I don't want to break them.
