The dye in question is the mixture of 'Just for Men' and this leaked onto my tie. The dye may well have been filtered slightly as the bottled mixture was in a cardboard box and the box was placed on top of my tie.
The tie in question is the one I wore when I got married and therefore I would prefer not to experiment. Any help is greatly appreciated.

And occassionally laundry as well? I have tried switching detergents and adding Febreeze to the wash cycle but it hasn't helped really. Also have tried sponges but they seem to sour as quickly, possibly even faster. Unknowingly picking up a soured rag is just gross!

i've been told to steep them in water with sterident tablet in...does this work? i have a lot of bras but dont want to throw out my discoloured ones that are still in excellent condition apart from the colour!

My boyfriend sweats a lot at work, and his shirts are musty smelling, no matter what we try---tried vinegar, that kinda made it worse once it set in w/ the sweat. We've air dried, washed them solo in hot, but when he works and sweats(or they get wet) the smell is back! Any suggestions?

I bought this lovely jumper with all these annoying care instructions, I don't know how to dry it after I have hand washed it? It also says do not dry clean.

Have just laid tiles in kitchen and have them already in other part of house for last few months. Find it imposible to shift the dirt from them. They always seem dusty even after they have been thoroughly cleaned.

i have moved into a flat about a 3 months ago now and I have had 2 second hand washing machines that seem to work though both have said to work when i got them. one is from a colleague of my boyfriends so very reliable. would having an unlevel floor effect a washing machine or what else could it be got a repair man coming later today

I was given a piece of the most amazing stain remover called "Exit Soap" I have just about used the last of my bar. I need to find out where to buy it from. I am not sure I will be able to go on if I can get another bar from somewhere

We just moved here and the people before us left food in the sink. We cleared out the food, but there is still a horrible smell. I have tried pouring bleach down it, and it works for a few minutes, but then the smell is back. I should also mention that it is the bathroom sink, not the kitchen so I can't use the disposal.

My 3 year old grandaughter took a gallon of milk and poured it all onto the carpet in a 18 inch circle. I have tryed steam cleaning it and I,ve tryed Pinesol,Gain laundry soap,Dawn dish washing soap,Fabreeze and still it smells really bad and its making the whole room reak. I aloud the carpet to dry after each cleaning attempt but it smells like soured milk and I,m lost and I need some good advice .Has anyone else ever had this happen to them and if so what did you use to clean it up with.

I inherited my grandmother's dining room table, and someone inadvertently put a hot pan on it, now it has a large white stain on it. I don't have the money to take it to a professional, is there anything I can do to help minimize the mark? I'm so tired of looking at ugly tablecloths...
