I am not sure what you mean by a black marble worktop... Are you talking about a countertop?

Two ways:

1) Don't know if any of these would work but I would try polishing compound (the kind you buy for autos) buff in a little. I would think this would work...buff out to a brilliant shine. Then I would follow up with Orange GLo....I use this on all my surfaces to make them sparkle. (you need to buff it in though or it will sit on the surface as an oily residue).

2) The preferred way: Home Depot and Lowe's has great marble cleaning compounds and buffing compounds.. I have used those on my granite and it works fine..

I certain don't but out of the entire overrated as **** god-bands, they may be certainly one of my favorites. You're a metalhead, right? So i do not expect you to genuinely be given that they sound that best, of course that is opinion, however to deny that they have not had more have an impact on on Rock than any person else ever is solely ignorant. I do not feel they were very proficient and even that fine songwriters. Greatness is some thing that comes from being the correct band at the correct time and so they were. Frankly, liking bands due to the fact they're nice is silly. Best doesn't suggest whatever apart from maybe lucky. I just like the Beatles given that they sound just right. They're like early early early indie rock to me in some ways, and i love indie rock. Anyway, I have no idea the place i am going so i'll just stop.

I also have shiney black marbel work tops. I fill the sink with hot soapy water and clean the whole thing with a Jey Cloth. Then i buff to a shine with normal kitchen roll.

Does take a while and uses loads of kitchen roll but does work!!

two ways
1 - buy a steamer (from argos - about £30.00) and a microfibre cloth - using these wil leave you with a mirror finish that is
smear free (but dont wash the cloth and then rinse in fabric conditioner or it will become smeary)

2 - Lakeland plastics sell a brilliant work top cleaner that really does the trick - spray it on then anything that is spilt just gets repelled check it out on their web page its called work top
wonder and cost 7.25 http://www.lakelandlimited.co.uk/product.aspx/!7765

The best solution: Milsek wax. This can be used also for stainless steel appliances, wood furniture, etc. I have used this for years and it keeps everything show-room shiny, and not greasy.
