I had just put Neosporin, on a bite on my shoulder, before I put on a new shirt. The Neosporin soaked into the shirt, and I cannot get the spot out. I have tried Dawn, and Shout, with no success.

It's a very small stain, but I would like a method that won't harm the fabric.

If anyone could give me some "tried and true" methods, that would be great!

I found a little spiderweb in the corner of my child's room, and I used an upright vacuum with a bag inside it to vacuum up the spider. Will the vacuum suction automatically kill the spider, or will it just transfer the spider to the bag and will he remain alive and have the ability of crawling out of the vacuum when the vacuum is turned off ?

I know peanut butter works...but I have white t-shirts. Won't there be oil left from the peanut butter after the gum is out?
BTW- I tried freezing the clothes in the freezer. It didn't work. The brand of gum is Orbit...if that helps anyone.

I got a comforter last year from bed bath and beyond or linens and things...i can't remember where! i had a tag on my comforter but they put it on the end by the head so i took it off and didn't think to keep the packaging information. it's a deep red, a type of silk with a red like rope around the edges...but the under side is cotton. i looked on the websites for both stores, i did a google search, and looked on ebay. i have no brand to go off of so it's hard to do a search based on that. any suggestions?? i want to know if i can wash it in my washer.

I have quite a few white t-shirts, mostly from Abercrombie & Fitch (Which is expensive!). I wear anti-perisperant, and deodarant, and when I take off my white shirts, I have yellow marks on the underarm that do not come out in the wash very well. Anyone know- Is this sweat? Deodarant Stains? or what? And if you do know, how do I get it out. I would like to preserve these shirts and get the most use possible out of them.

I just bought a new sponge last week and it smells funky already. I didn't leave it in water or anything (it was on the back of my sink). I'm sick of having to buy new sponges all the time. Any ideas on how to clean it?

I have a dark blue cotton T-shirt that I brushed up against Tilex Mold and Mildew cleaner, and it bleached my shirt. The bleached part looked dusty at first (I was cleaning the house) until I looked at it closer and realized it was bleached. I didn't even think about the fact that Mold and Mildew cleaner had bleach in it!

Anyway, is there anything I can do to make the shirt presentable again? I thought of bleaching the entire shirt in the wash, to fade it all into one color, but I didn't want it to end up splotchy. Or is there something that can remove bleach stains?
