I have quite a few white t-shirts, mostly from Abercrombie & Fitch (Which is expensive!). I wear anti-perisperant, and deodarant, and when I take off my white shirts, I have yellow marks on the underarm that do not come out in the wash very well. Anyone know- Is this sweat? Deodarant Stains? or what? And if you do know, how do I get it out. I would like to preserve these shirts and get the most use possible out of them.

Try using a bleach pen directly on the stained areas. Then wash in hot water with additional bleach added.

The stains are probably related to your deodorant. Try switching brands, and see if you can eliminate the problem. In the meantime, bleach may help, as suggested above, if the shirts are all cotton. If they are a blend with something else, bleach may compound your problem. Baking soda will help if there is any odor associated with the stains, but I don't think it will take away the stain itself.

You can try adding bleach to the water as long as there are no colors on the shirts. Also, you can use baking soda. Make a paste using baking soda and water, spread it on the stains and let it sit for a while.

There are a lot of possibilities. Its probably all of the above including dirt. I usually use Era and a Bleach pen . That's so far has mostly worked on everything.
