Baking Soda has many uses:
To remove scuff marks or grease spills from the floor, sprinkle with baking soda and then wipe with a warm, damp cloth. This is even safe for no-wax floors!

Also removes Kool-aid, Juice, pretty much all stains on counter tops. Wet counter, sprinkle a little over stain, wait a few minutes and then use a damp cloth or sponge in a circular motion. Rinse with clean water. Repeat if needed.

For burnt-on food in the bottom of pots, sprinkle with baking soda, then add hot water. Let soak overnight; the dried on food will come loose much more easily.

Bathrooms:
Sprinkle a little in the bottem of the garbage bag.

I soak our tooth brushes in a baking soda and water. I do that while I clean the bathroom. You can also use white vinager.

Launrdy:

I add a 1/4 cup to the wash. If I have to leave and not able to dry the clothes right away in the summer months this helps from getting that mildew smell.

If you have already washed the clothes and they smell because you have waited to long. Try re-washing or use just the rinse cycle with baking soda.

There are so many uses for baking soda.

I will locate a link I found years ago.

Good Luck!

You can use it for a few things. If you keep a box partly open in your fridge or freezer it will eat up any odors. You can sprinkle some in your shoes to eliminate foot odors. Sprinkle it in your laundry while the water is filling and it will help remove body odors. It works great for kitty litter. If you find yourself out of toothpaste though it doesn't taste to great you can make a paste and brush, it is what they add to toothpaste for the whitening effect!!! You can even make a light mixture of it as an antacid. Plus all your baking needs. Baking Soda is really quite a useful product.

I also use it to clean out microwave...put about 2 or 3 tablespoons of baking soda in a microwaveable cup with about 1 to 1 1/2 cups water. Nuke for about 3-4 minutes until water is boiling. This will soften up all the dried on crud/splatters on the inside of the microwave and you can literally just wipe them out with a damp towel.

Baking soda is an abrasive so that it does not harm furniture, flooring, showers..etc., it is environmentally friendly, and also is a deodorizer . It also works very well on whitening teeth, after you dip toothbrush in soda... put a little peroxide on it, and use this every other day, you will notice a big change in your smile.

Mix baking soda with hot water to a thick paste consistency. Apply to tile grout and let stand for 10 minutes. Scrub the grout with a stiff brush. Rinse well. Reseal with grout sealer.

It can be used almost anywhere that you need it. I've used it to get kool-aid stains off of the counter and in the grout in the bathroom to get it white again. It's good for bad smells too. You can also use on most stoves to get the grease and stuff off.
