Crayons are basically colored wax. Once you dried it it melted into the fabric. It may be to late but try some deterget and cold water and rub the fabric together vigorously. It may get some of it out, but like I said, probably to late.

Use your iron. The crayon is melted wax just like a candle. Place several thickneeses of paper toweling under the fabric. If the fabric will handle a HOY iron use the highest heat setting. This should melt the crayon unto the toweling. You may have to repeat several times, using freh toweling each time, The lower the heat of the iron the more the repeats will be necessary. If not all removed and still unsightly sew a applique over the spot.

Had this happen a few weeks ago. I just re-washed everything in the hot water and the crayon came right out. I figured the clothes were ruined with the stain so if they shrunk I wasn't out anything...they didn't shrink. I also tossed in oxyclean and borax along with the detergent.

I would go to an automotive store. Sounds crazy, but you can get this kind of hand cleaner there. It's designed to take heavy grease stains off mechanics' hands, but it also takes stains out of fabrics. It ususally comes in a small plastic tub, and it kind of looks like pudding. I've used it on lipstick, grease, chewing gum, blood, and all kinds of other stains, even stains that have gone through the dryer. I swear by the stuff.

Put the material between two peices of wax paper. Iron on low setting and let it cool. Then the wax in the crayon should stick to the wax paper.

It's almost impossible to get out once it's been through the dryer. Try goof off, that's really the only thing I can think of that might (big might) work. Good luck.

Try using Ivory soap. Bar. rub it on the stain good before washing it. My mom swears by Ivory bar soap for stains. Dont know if it will work for crayon, but wont hurt to try.

Been there and done almost everything suggested here including the mechanic's grease removal gel (brand surfega) Nothing worked.
Sorry to be of no help. I am putting the question of my watch list. If something really works for you do mention it in the comment section. You will be helping a lot of us here.

THROW THEM AWAY . TRUST ME IT'S NOT WORTH THE HASSLE OR HEADACHE . I HAVE THREE CHILDREN AND ALL OF THEM DID THIS AT ONE TIME OR ANOTHER . MAKE SURE THE DRYER IS CLEANED OUT BECAUSE THE CRAYON WILL MELT ON THE OUTER HOLES AND STAY THERE . GOOD LUCK .
